Benoit Le Bars represents clients in international arbitration, mediation and alternative dispute resolution. He has appeared as counsel in a variety of arbitral forums, and advises for both contracts and litigation. He specializes in corporate law, international trade law, international contracts and OHADA law. In addition to his work as counsel, Mr. Le Bars has also served as elected arbitrator in a variety international arbitrations.
Mr. Le Bars is an associate professor at Vermont Law School specializing in French and European corporate law. He also lectures postgraduates in business law at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, northwest of Paris.
He began his career as an independent lawyer before acting as Of Counsel to various law firms, such as Skadden Arps. He served as a former Director of Landwell & Associates, in charge of the arbitration team, and a partner at the firm Hammonds Hausmann.
