In Memoriam: Serge Lazareff
A pillar of the arbitration community and longstanding member of the Paris Bar, founding partner Serge Lazareff was a prominent figure within the ICC International Court of Arbitration. He served as Chairman of the international arbitration commission of ICC France and 15 years service as a chairman of the ICC Institute of World Business Law.
In addition to his service at the ICC, Mr. Lazareff left an indelible mark on international arbitration by serving as arbitrator in more than 160 cases, applying law from more than a dozen countries, involving a variety of industries.
His unique values and achievements helped shape the field of international arbitration. Both professionally and personally, he stood for hard-fought principles, often taken for granted today. At Lazareff Le Bars, we remain true to these principles as we continue forward.
